This room is modeled after the Christ Church hall at Oxford. Coincidentally, so is the dining hall in the Harry Potter movies. (See the Risdining ripoffs)

Directly over your head is the pat of butter that one diner threw at the ceiling, years ago. Several pats stuck, and fell down over the course of the next few days... except one. This one hardened, bonded to the roof, and is now such a permanent and celebrated fixture that the ceiling painters actually went around it when the room was refurbished in 2003.
