In the mural on your right, the two motorcyclists were originally deemed too "scary" by Cornell Campus Life. They now ride on wheels made of daisies. That's a gorge, and Risley up above them on the hill. The motif may have come from Fool on the Hill, a book Matt Ruff wrote in and about Risley in the early 90s.
