The hallway ends here in four rooms. The wooden doorframes lead to each room's actual door. However, with a little bit of inginuity and a screwdriver, one can extend their room's total square footage by moving the door forward and attaching it to the empty frame.

This was once done to an unsuspecting resident while he was at class.

When he returned, he was pleased with his larger room until nightfall, when it became apparent that he had also annexed the eternally-shining light from the hallway. Thanks to fire code, there was no way to shut it off.

Still, the resident liked his room and decided to keep it that way. He once housed a prospective freshman in the bright section and never bothered to mention that it wasn't standard university policy.
